Skin White As Snow...

Can you guess where I was going with that? Lol! I wanted to go and see Mirror Mirror since I was in the mood for some campy fun and I quickly did these nails to match.

I was going for something similar and all I could hear playing over and over in my head was:

Skin white as snow,
Lips red as blood, and
Hair black as ebony!

So I decided to do some mismatched nails using, you guessed it - red, white and black!

I applied a base coat of Revlon Calcium Gel Nail Hardener. On my index finger I applied two coats of OPI Black Onyx. On my pinkie finger I applied two coats of Revlon White on White. For my remaining fingers I used two coats of Revlon Revlon Red. Then I finished them all off with a coat of Seche Vite.

Now for the photos:

Unfortunately there wasn't much sunlight in which to take these photos.

I really liked this :) I know that it's super simple but that was exactly what I was going for!

Skittles Mani Part 3: Skittle Madness!!

Skittles again you ask? Why YES! This time I decided to go sparkly :)
So on the layers are as follows:
  • China Glaze Happy Go Lucky + BYS Pot of Gold
  • China Glaze Four Leaf Clover + BYS Glitter Dazzling
  • China Glaze High Hopes + BYS Kinky Pink
  • Zoya Mira + BYS Silver Moon
  • Zoya Breezi + BYS Out of the Blue
Then I added a very thick coat of Seche Vite to even out the glitters.

These photo's were taken in artificial light later that night.

When my nephew came over he was showing me how good he was at his colours by identifying them from my nails! When I asked him what his favourite one was he replied "the sparkly one"! Oh to be four again :P On the other hand - hehe see what I did there! - my one year old nephew decided they look yummy and kept trying to eat my fingers! So which was your favourite skittle manicure?

Skittles Mani Part 1: Only The Beginning!

I decided to do something very very VERY colourful :) With that in mind I did a bright colourful skittles manicure. First I applied my Revlon Calcium Gel Nail Hardener. The nail polishes I used are:
  • Thumb: China Glaze Happy Go Lucky
  • Index: China Glaze Four Leaf Clover
  • Middle: China Glaze High Hopes
  • Ring: Zoya Mira
  • Pinky: Zoya Breezi.
I used two coats of each and then applied a top coat of Seche Vite.
These photo's I took that night after my top coat had dried in artificial light.
