Nail Mail from Karine!

So I've been meaning to post this since FOREVER but kept pushing it back in favour of my nails posts. But at least the time has come :)

I won a giveaway over at Karinea0a and the package actually arrived on my birthday :) BEST BIRTHDAY PRESENT EVER!

 Ok so my photo really sucks as Cutie Pie and Trendy have amazing colour shifts. Can I just say I was jumping off the walls when I got these! My first HITS polishes!!! The first HITS I ever saw were swatches of the No Olimpo collection and I instantly fell in love! I'm so crazy happy to add these amazing polishes to my collection!

Thank You so much Karine!! I can't express how happy I am to have these polishes in my possession. I have been wanting to buy HITS polishes for ages but haven't had the money so winning this giveaway was unbelievable and the package arriving on my birthday was like the icing on the cake!


Now on a random note to any of my readers that might be in/near/around Perth, have any of you been to the new Coventry Square Markets in Morley? I am in love with that place! There's a stall there called Save A Lot that I visit every time I go there. They sell toiletries, personal care products, cosmetics and perfumes - but I'm sure you can guess what I look for :) The sell Maybelline and Revlon polishes for AUD$5 that you often see on Ozsale. They also have a display of older Sinful Colors polishes - the first SC I've seen in Perth. The have Sally Hansen, Essie and a bunch of other brands of nail polish that I hadn't seen before and can't remember right now lol! They had full sized bottle of Essie Braziliant for AUD$5!!

I got these two Essie mini packs, each were AUD$7, and the Revlon polish was only AUD$5. When I was there they were having a stocktake sale so they had 20% off everything in store!

Even though the sale is now finished this is the cheapest I have ever seen these polishes. As you might have guessed I can't wait to head back and see what new stock they have as they were still filling the shelves when I was there last.

Ulta3 Haul!

I mentioned in an earlier post that Coles had Ulta3 polishes on sale for AUD$1 and I of course took advantage and picked several colours up :) So what did  I grab?..

First of all I needed a white that wasn't like water since my Revlon White On White is terrible to use for any nail art :( The other colours were just so pretty I had to grab them!

I was hoping to get other glitters but my local Coles only had the blue glitter :( Again I got most of these to use for nail art.

There were a few other colours I had been hoping to get but they weren't available at my local Coles and I haven't yet gone visiting other ones to see what they have. Did anyone else pick up any of the Ulta3 polishes from their Coles?

Nail Haul - Gotta Love Specials!!!

So I took advantage of the huge amount of specials Big W had the last few weeks on make up brands!!! I never would have known about all the specials but I'm part of an amazing facebook group of Australian nail bloggers, Aussie Nails, and we let each other know when there are specials on :)

First off I picked up seven of the eight polishes in the new Face of Australia Barbados collection.

Face of Australia Calypso-Gold, Orange You Glad You Came?, Bright Lights, Pink City, Another Daiquiri Please, I Like To Mauve It, Let's Go Scuba Diving and You Blew Me Away

I also managed to find two polishes from the Face of Australia Molten Metallics collection which I missed when it first came out so I was happy to pick these up :)

Big W had AUD$3 off Face of Australia cosmetics so these polishes came down to AUD$1.87 each!! So I saved AUD$27 on these beauties :)
I also picked up all of the Max Factor minis that were available.

Big W had AUD$5 off Max Factor cosmetics meaning these polishes came down to AUD$0.48 each!! That's a saving of AUD$30 on these 6 polishes alone :) And really AUD$5.48 for each of these minis is way overpriced in my opinion so there was no way I ever would have bought these at full price.

I was so happy I saved almost AUD$60 on these polishes!! Basically these were the best specials ever!!! And Big W rocks!! I'd keep an eye on the Big W catalogues in future for any more amazing specials! Also Coles is selling Ulta3 nail polish and lip glosses for AUD$1 each at the moment :)
