With that in mind I decided to swatch the Konad Special Polishes that I have to give you an idea of whether they will be suitable to stamp on top of your manicure colour. Therefore I stamped the butterfly design on M36 in each colour on a bare nail, white, black and a random colour I chose. To shorten the time this would take I used both hands, therefore some swatches will be my left hand and others my right.
Keep in mind that applying a top coat blends the stamped image with the base colour and can sometimes make the stamped colour more intense. None of these swatches have a top coat since I didn't want to try and remove it as I was doing so many. Also some of the images are smudged because I was impatient and didn't wait long enough for the nail polish colour to dry. However, since I simply wanted to show the colour of the Konad Special Polish I wasn't that worried about it.
All these photo's were taken in artificial light. I hope this helps some of you as much as it does me!

This is totally brilliant--I'm planning to hit the local Konad place in the next couple of days and was just wondering which "special" polishes of theirs might be worth getting. Thanks for taking the time to post these!

I buy mine from http://icna.com.au/ :) Hope that helps!
DeleteThank you so much for doing this - I was searching online for just this kind of swatch as I'm often lazy and stamp onto my bare nails and the stamps often look completely different than over polish.
ReplyDeleteFab post! So helpful and thorough - thank you :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for doing this! This helped me a lot with choosing Konad colors. You're the first I've seen to do this....
