Nails Inc House of Parliament

I love magnetic polishes and decided to refresh my memory on how gorgeous they are. So I grabbed House of Parliament from their Magnetic polishes. I love this purple and black magnetic polish!

One coat of my usual Sally Hansen Triple Strong base coat. I then applied one coat of House of Parliament and waited for it to dry. I then applied another coat and used the diagonal magnet from China Glaze which I held to the nail for 15 seconds. Afterwards I added a layer of Revlon Colorstay top coat.

Actual photos today - except my natural light photo was taken when the sun was going down

Do I really have to tell you how much I love this!! I think this is beautiful and since my nails are short I actually managed to get almost the entire design to show up on my index finger! I really like how the design showed up on my short nails and am so happy with this mani :)

    1. It is gorgeous! I love magnetic polishes, have fun with yours :) I try to get the magnet as close to my nail as possible and hold it in place for 15+ seconds to get the effect to develop. I find that as it dries the design disappears so I try to 'over-expose' the polish. I hope that makes sense XD

  4. That looks lovely on you! Whenever I try to use a magnetic polish, the lines never come out strongly. Yours turned out great! :-)

    1. Thank you :) I definitely find it depends on the strength of the magnet as well as the polish. I try to leave the magnet in place for a longer time to make sure the design really shows up!
