OPI Black Onyx

I recently bought a flakie polish that I'm dying to try out and I decided that a black creme would be the best choice for me to get the full effect. So with that in mind I chose OPI Black Onyx!

One coat of Revlon Calcium Gel Nail Hardener and then a single coat of Black Onyx. I applied a thick coat of Seche Vite Dry Fast top coat and then used Sally Hansen Insta-Dri speed dry drops.

Once my manicure was dry I took these photo's in artificial light that night.

The following day I bravely ventured into the 40°C heat to take photo's in the blistering sun.

Well what can I say? Black! Creme! Perfection! I would advise using two thin coats when applying Black Onyx because there were slight areas of balding that weren't easily covered with one coat. It also makes it difficult to fill in those small balding sections because the nail polish dries quickly so it didn't meld together for an even coat. This has definitely become my go-to black creme nail polish!

    1. This looks so vampy on me IRL since I'm so pale - but it doesn't stop me wearing it :P
